slooow computer
of late my computer has become very slow sometimes I push the mouse and nothing happens for 10 seconds its getting very annoying
makes navigating through sites very slow it seems to take longer when its been on for a while?
any ideas anyone? a bug maybe

Hi Marcel,
Is this only happening during web surfing or general computer use? If it's during web surfing, check through Start->Settings->Control
Panel->Add/Remove Programs AND also down where the icons are on th right hand side of your Task Bar to see if some insidious program like Gator has
been inadvertantly installed. These web tracking programs that populate you screen with ads and take you to sites that you don't want to go to
can really really slow down the general performance of your web-surfing.

defrag, defrag, defrag.........
You may have to do a scan disk first.
Computers have alot of junk on them so it needs to be sorted...
Start>Programs>Accessories>Systemtools>Disk Defregmenter
I recomend it once a week ....
Depending on the usage....
