Tyre size
I have 66 Baja with 15 x 6' rims on front & 15 x 8 on the back
Any suggestions for the right size tyres to fit to keep the best steering & geering ratios within acceptable levels?? |

Depends on your intended use and what you call acceptable....
15x8's should fit 265's (10.50" ) without drama, 15x6's would take 205's or 215's pretty nicely.

probaly 215/75/15 on the front and depending on the gearbox you have and the engine size will limit your choice of rear tire but 235/75 would be a
nice tire with a standard 66 gbox

I run 31 x 10 tyres on the rear of my baja. But i think i have a 1200 gearbox which has lower ratios, so i dont have any probs pushing those tyre in
the dunes.
On the front i have 14 x 7 rims with 215/65/r14 on the front. But the fronts are to wide for offroad dont have any steering in the sand. On front i
reckon the skinner the better.
