Internal tar painting.

Have removed all the old tar from the inside of my sbug floor pan, all holes welded up. How thick do you paint the new tar paint on and what have some people found to be the best brand to use?

make sure you do some rust inhibiting on your welds before you tar over them. ive used two different aerosole tar paints wich looked exactly the same. the thicker you do it the more sound insulation you'll get out of it.
i'de be interested to hear from any body that has had troubble with any brands of tar paint cracking, deteriating, etc.
