how much prep needed to paint POR15


can i give the undercarriage a quick going over or does all the paint have to come off.
and can someone please post some pics of undercarriages painted in por15

It will stick to paint, but it works best when painted onto bare metal which has been prepped according to the instructions. Full prep requires cleaning with the POR cleaner followed by etching with their metal prep product.

I did the whole underneath of my bus in POR15, as per the instructions it works best on bare metal and I had mine shot blasted, .

Bigbaja can you tell us all what went wrong so we all know whether to use it or not. I have used it on bits and pieces and it seems fine. Curious as to why you dont like it.
