colour choice

Howdy Ho,

Now that i've got a ggod paying job, i've decided i will get bertie resprayed.

His paint at the moment isn't too bad. a few chips and stuff, bog marks on the bonnet and cracked on the roof. If i chose to get him repainted in the current colour, would that require less sanding back? If it does, then that'd be cheaper i imagine, and would be a good choice, as the colour is awesome.

any info/opinions greatly appreciated

cheers,

Any respray in the colour it is now will always be a hell of a lot cheaper as that way they dont have to spray the inside.
Its a hell of a lot of time which equals money to strip a car inside as well as outside.
Cheers

Or you could go for a similar colour on the outside but add some pearl effect or flames, graphics etc

Yep the saving will be in not repainting the inside and all crevises etc...however they should be sealing the old paint before applying new paint so that part will be the same for whether you keep the colour or change it.
