Its a difficult obstacle to overcome. My mate who is helping me can tune it and is familiar with microtech, although without the gas analyser we are
stuck.
Craig, the box is nice and tight...so tight, i thought there was something wrong with it.
Pete... how is your spyder???? When can we do what we discussed a while back, I have though lots about it!

with a laptop with a portable o2 sensor, trying to replicate all aspects of speed, revs, boost, load, timing and all the other variables that can be
instantly looked at on the dyno. The radiator comment was another treat. There is a huge fan in front of all dynos, despite the fact that cars have
thermo fans on their own the regulate operating temps. Cars do not overheat on dynos, and if they do get a bit hot due to the load and revs of the car
then, it can be tuned for that too! They were not designed as a HP wank tool, so who cares if they all vary slightly in figures as long as the car has
been put through aspects of performance and tuning not available by any other means. I am not going to start on the diagnostic capabilities, as my
head is hurting.
As an example, this thread was hapily plodding along, until you decided to chime in with opinions not aimed at the benefit or assistance to anyone.
Its your right to say whatever you want, I just wish you could loose that chip off your shoulder as your knowledge can obviously assist those newer to
the scene.

The 'huge' fan is the equivalent of about a 50km/h drive. Dunno about you, but I've never raced anywhere at 30km/h. Welcome to the forum!

Ummm, no, fraid it's not a matter of reading slower, and I can handle anything technical you want to bring up, it's just a matter of punctuation and
sentences.

Howdy Greg.
And welcome.
I have to say I hope your not trying to take my title from me as the "resident gardener" at the NSWHC series. We noticed that you were giving the
Beetle some as you arrived at the pits in Bathurst after every run, plenty of dust but to qualify you must produce the dust whilst competing on the
track......or as close to the black stuff as possible......
The rules state:
1: At least one complete 360 deg spin must be completed off the track and as close to the spectator view as possible.
2: A volume of equal too or greater than 2 meters cubed of soil must reach a height of no less than the top of your vehicle during the spin.
3: You must ensure that the said vehicle must stall to prolong the time in front of the spectators after the spin.
So you know the rules......just watch it OK.:thumb

Don't worry at all mate, you are WAY ahead in the pointscore to win the "Resident Gardener" trophy. I have some video of your runs at Wakefield
from CT that can back that up, and believe me you certainly follow the 3 rules to the letter!!
I couldn't be bothered to do an 8 point turn at Bathurst, so 180's were the go :thumb
However if I did them on the track, I'd miss an important run right?!!
Sorry to hijack this thread which is about Jak's car and dyno's!!

Last I heard....wife, both children, picknick basket and a full tank vs liberty with an sti motor......gave him a rolling start as Jak was feeling
compasionate, won by 8 car lenghts.
