911 into SplitScreen?

Hi All,

Does anyone know where there might be a reference article or some information on what is required to install and modify everything to run a 911 (2.4) in a SplitScreen....?.... Im still looking for a split but have just been offered a nice 2.4E engine so am thinking of taking it... Just want to have a look at how much work is required for the swap..

Cheers....

In Volksworld a few months back they ran a feature on a blue bus that had a 911 motor in it.
Had to fit the whole subframe from the Porsche.

Cheers

Hmmmmmmmm, thanks......

Ill try to get my hands on that issue and check it out. Sounds like a lot of work though, I always thought it might be a myth that you could do the swap relatively easily........

Thanks again....

Putting an early Porsche, a 356 motor is quite easy as it is basically a VW motor( 4 cylinder 1600), the later 6 cylinders will not JUST BOLT IN.

What about this motor into a '75 Bay!? Different problems no doubt, but this would have to be an easier task? Just musing...
