slight 'wobble'

I think my kombi has developed a very slight wobble when I drive- nothing I can pinpoint exactly
It doesnt feel like it is coming through the steering wheel but just something I can feel through the floor
Any ideas?
maybe wheel allignment/ wheel balance?
Ive never had one done but I have just had front brake pads replaced

start off with the simple things... are the wheels fitted and tightened correctly.

get a wheel balance or check the tyres have they bubbled or Egged ??? are your running re treads ??

are the wheel bearings tightened correctly

is there the correct or too much free play in the steering box.

then start looking at your tie rodball joints and finally the trailing arm ball joints.

mine was same

I just had my wobble fixed today. had the front discs machined ($45 for both wheels) and new pads 9the one's that come off were threadbare)/ Wobble on braking fixed.

as someone on this forum suggested to me...jack up the front end and see if there is any free play on the wheel by puching the top in and bottom out etc...

ok I took the van for a wheel alignment today
it wasnt the alignment it was the retreds!
apparantly they were lifting or something so I got 4 new tyres and she now runs perfectly
it did cost me a little more than I had expected $360 but atleast I am safe and road worthy
