JW Tools


Has anybody heard of JW Tools USA and are they anygood? looking to buy a mechanics set and found this brand, any suggestions?

Heard of them, but never used them.

I bought a fairly big Sidchrome set back in the early 80s when I was a mere lad, and it's been brilliant. It's done everything I've asked of it and all the tools still work fine. I had to engrave my name in them to stop other family members borrowing them. No complaints with Aussie Sidchromes.

That said, I have added some special VW tools to it over the years. One of the best and most basic is the 10-13mm open end spanner that comes with your VW - it's so useful for normal work.

No need to buy normal work tools from the USA.
