Where to find Key Codes

Anyone know where I can find the key codes on the handles of a 61 kombi. Or do I need to get at the igition barrel. I can't see it on any of the handles. As I need to get a key cut from a code as I have no key.

Is there anywhere in OZ that does this

Pull the ignition switch out of the car and take it along to your closest locksmith, they will cut n make a new key for about $20.00 ..... take the door locks as well and get them all keyed alike, it will cost a little more but it will be better with only 1 key for the locks.

If your near Campsie the locksmith there Abbotts do a great job, ive had several done before.

If you want an origional VW key blank then call Vintage, they have several different styles available.
