No doubt about it, that is an awesome motor:
5.5-liter V12, intercooled twin turbos, 3-valves per cylinder, 550 hp@5250 rpm & 664 ft.-lb. at 2300 rpm, alternating-current twin-spark ignition
system. All in a car that weighs 5852 lbs (over 2.5 tonne) and can still do 0-60 mph in 5.0 seconds!!!
Just think what it would do in a kombi with only half the weight!!! :o:o:o Mid-mounted with a sequential transmission..... mmmmm!!!!

That is one ugly looking car. Looks like a Mercedes that has eaten too many meat pies.
I agree with Che - Final Objective can't be beat for the world's most powerful road registered car. It was at this year's Summernats -
the 1955 Chevy with a 27-litre supercharged V12 Rolls Royce Merlin aero engine from a P-51 fighter. THREE THOUSAND horsepower.

Don't get me wrong, I love it. I don't buy Street Machine anymore, but I did buy that issue, just for the 'Final Objective'

hope your friend is smart. He'll need a good paying job. $900,000. Should be able to get a good used one for half a mill. Now that would build
one hell of a kombi. One that would leave a maybach well bach.
Theres a 3 page spread on them in this months Motor magazine.
