No it wasn't planned..............but it did storm the night before, so Mr M decided that he would park Boof the Baja in the mud so people wouldn't walk through it. Of course, this is what he told us when he got there early and saw the mud..........personally, I think it was just and excuse!

Yeah, it was great. Who ever put the baja certainly put it in the right place lol. Only worry was to walk up in the mud to have a close look when ur wearing good shoes. lol

69' baja: kombi box, thing spindles, irs, disc front, type 3 rear drums, 2 inch lift kit, 31x10 rears. :tu:
New engine in process: 94mm p&bs, 74mm C/w chomol Crank, 35.5x39 SP heads, turbo. Wierd combo, hopeful torque monsta!

Thanks everyone for coming along.

We have done the final count and we had 212 VW's in the park. Sure was a nice sight standing up at the front gates and looking down.

I can honestly say it was the biggest SWAP / TRADE Sites section I have ever seen at a VW Show. We had 28 Sites Registered.

Lots of bargains had by all.

Look forward to next year.

The rain during the week was great... made the park nice and green but the sun did come out Friday with out a cloud in the sky but come 3.00pm the sky darkened over and down she come.

Saturday though was fantastic... could not ask for better weather. Sunday someone above was sure was smiling on us.
