how does one do so? What simple extras/mods should be added to be able to do such on a standard beetle? IM INTERESTED.

69' baja: kombi box, thing spindles, irs, disc front, type 3 rear drums, 2 inch lift kit, 31x10 rears.
New engine in process: 94mm p&bs, 74mm C/w chomol Crank, 35.5x39 SP heads, turbo. Wierd combo, hopeful torque monsta!

full 2332 (with 48IDAs or big injection) or turbo EFI stroker (this means uprated fuel lines too), heavy duty trans (with berg front mount), narrowed
front end (don't need it but this cab has it), rear chassis stiffeners. Remove every piece of uneeded trim and interior.
Actually not as difficult to bolt in as you think. The only real fabrication work required is the fuel lines, berg front mount and chassis stiffeners.
The rest is just $$$.
Lots and lots and lots of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

a cheaper alternative is just run nitrous to the stock 36hp engine!!!
it wont last that long though hehe!!
but still worth the fun
