Veedubs around S-E QLD

Every day and arvo I take the train to go to school. (50 minute trip one way, yeah bit of a distance). I get on at Beenleigh (Edenslanding station) and get off at Southbank (Southbank station). During my trips there are a number of frequent vee dubs I see, as well as my trip up the hill when walking from the station.

This includes a nice, lil' orange beetle around Marooka, parked in someones backyard. Either a 1500 or later model.

A orange/yellow and white bay kombi under some trees next to a fence at a petrol station. Somewhere around near sunnybank, close to the railway.

A very nice green/aqua early beetle at kingston station. Very nice and original looking, from the train.;)

A white kombi at park road, (think it was another bay) with a black front bull bar.

And a very nice navy blue/black L bug (I think it was an L) with whale tail, torana head lights, carerra bonnet and its engine sounds pretty souped,as it roars down vulture street, coming from Stephen's road around south bank, across the road from southbank station. Man, the guy driving the thing gets so much attention as he flies by, cause the vee dub engine just screams.

Oh, and there is a very nice beetle (blue, sunroof, torana headlights, rims, whale tail) parked at woodridge station.

And, I think thats about it. I see these almost everyday. There are others I see, but they aren't as frequent as these, so I can't really remember em'.

So, anyone hear own em? I wonder what that guy in the navyblue/black beetle has under his hood. hmm.:P

I'm currently in year 12, at St. Laurence's college. Its just up the hill next to Somerville house girls school. (In the south direction from the station, on Stephen's road.)

Yeah, we walk to QUT over the goodwill bridge and griffith is just across the road from the Southbank station. We go there sometimes during excursions and to see the uni art exhibitions.
