Thanks to...errr....
I recently made some enquiries on here about getting hold of some video footage of buggies in action. After talking to someone, who put me on to
someone...etc etc etc.....I ended up with a wonderful package in the mail.
I have, of course, lost my U2U's I sent at the time about the topic...and I also managed to lose the envelope and senders details from said package.
What can I say, my house is not that well organised currently....
To whoever it was (you know who you were) who sent me this in the past week or so - thank you very much, I have been able to educate my family in the
art of buggying. Next time you are in Canberra, look me up and we'll have a beer.
You off-road crowd are a friendly lot and I hope to be able to keep up when I join the fold.
For info, I got footage from a Stockton trip in March this year. Can anyone tell me about it? Like...where's Stockton? How often do you go? Was
there any damage to the yellow Baja? What was that blue buggy with the 'different' appearance?

Well I got a great CD with said footage from someone's cool trip in the dunes (quite a turnout from what I saw), plus a very nifty book that I
didn't know about, which I intend reading up on - basically hints and tips on buggy bits. Didn't know this type of thing was available (well, I am
new to buggying). I feel a bit wrong accepting the book as well as the CD for nix (as well as postage), so as stated, I owe someone a few beers.
Actually, I remember they mentioned something about visiting Canberra...hmmmm.... anyway thanks again, you've gone beyond what you should have.

I'd say it was either footage from mark (j&Sblue) or Jim (secoh). Stockton is the biggest sand pile in the southern hemisphere stretching 15-20km? up
the coastline from Newcastle to Anna Bay.
I'm pretty sure the footage was taken at the annual Easter get together.
During summer I was there once or twice a month. Half of the guys in that video came from sydney and even further so unfortunately they can't make it
as often as us newcastle guys.
No Damage at all to the yellow baja, it just kept on going. the owner has now sold it for a buggy.
That blue buggy you refer to could be mine. Its a fiberfab "RAT" buggy with a few mods.

I have been trying to get footage of the same sort of thing ( ebay usual online haunts n places) and nothing has really showed up. If there was
somone on forum who can legally release a copy to me without too much hassle i would be greatful. Not wanting to sound greedy...
(legality is open to some deviation too i suppose )
just dont want to get neone into trouble.
cheers all

For ratbug.....looking at your avatar it probably was your buggy I was commenting on.....one of my kids commented that it looked ugly in a cute kind
of way! I couldn't see a lot of it but it looked pretty cool (loved the recessed front and back lights!).
Dunno how I'll go getting to such an event from sunny Canberra, currently I can't even drive across town without breaking the car! We'll
see.....
I think you guys have too much fun out there on the dunes....
