When are we going to see that oval sport sedan of yours at some state hillclimbs and super sprints. I saw your dubber at the nationals a few years ago and i've been hanging to see it compete ever since.

What sort of ecu/electrical problems are you having? Are you running an after market ecu or the standard computer/loom.

Well my cheap bottom of the Line Microtech LTX8s started the engine first go & it hasn't stopped yet! I consider it to be a bargain.

I ran a motec ecu in my subaru rally car and never had a drama - was happy with it. I have also run microtech on my rotary and never had a drama with it either. I have had other mates run microtech in their rally and drag cars and produce good hp and never have any problems. I thought the mircotech was a good ecu for that application. It sounds like who ever has set it up hasnt done a good job or you just got a lemon.

The reason that I chose the Microtech was the fact that most of the modified subies running aftermarket ecu are running the computer that I have. Even the Rigoli's run with the Microtech.
It's also Australian.

Jako Skaiffe Rizzo,The Rigolis boys do use Microtech because they have the facilities to be able to tune them & keep them working....Lots of subies run this ecu because it is cheap and compensates for what you need....Rotarys use them as well because its a sequential Fire System set up.It does not work for me Jako because i run a lower voltage alternator and other componets which the ecu does not compensate for. Some would say...change alternator. That alternator is ther for a reason. My theory is...the motor does not work for the ECU....the ECU works the motor application.

From a rallying point of view the motec was great because it allowed for fuel, ignition and boost control along with antilag and rotational idle. A good tool to have in forest racing (antilag). The later two applications as yet are not offered in any mirotech ecu (as far as I know). I liked the motech but it is also worth a sh*t load more. Bang for buck - mirotech.

Thanks for your input Bat69,The aim is to race the car with good gear.In Super Tourers we only used Motec and it never failed.I have a ECU deal lined up with all the gear i need.:thumbJVLRacing
