If you haven't found my site yet, you should check it out
http://www.offroadvw.net/bajawes/linktoV6.htm

I chose the 6-rib and also decided to use a taller 4th gear set, and a 4-spider diff from a vanagon.

I think the http://www.rodshop.com.au/ sells suby adaptors, http://www.kennedyeng.com in the US sell them but are expensive, John Sherman on the Gold Coast also sells them but they aren't as good a quality as KEP stuff.

Tis is the guy I bought my adapter from
http://www.pnc.com.au/~bill/Transmission.html

Bill is quite helpful and doesn't mind a chat if you want to ask questions. He runs frame buggys and has adapter templates for almost anything. My adapter and flywheel set me back $500 from memory.

I would never deal with Ron Hadfield of the rodshop because he is an asshole to be blunt. I called asking for an adapter for the same application and he ask why the f**k would I want to do that and that if I couldn't find an adapter to just give up.

Have a look throught the forums for previous posts that I've made about my car. Also look at http://ricola.co.uk

Rod Hadfield's not an a-hole. He just has a very dry. laconic sense of humour that is hard to pick over the phone. And for that reason he could probably do himself a favour and not try and be funny with customers he's never met...!

What ever.........I'll certainly never deal with him. Too much of a LEGEND for his own good.
