any objections???
Alrite in my last post i asked people what engine they thought would be better.
I have come to the conclusion of a Ej20 Turbo (EJ20T)
just wondering if there were any objections to this?
Why i shouldn't use this engine?
Also i need a reccomendation on a gearbox
Thanx fellas |

EJ20T with a good condition LBox.These engines are very quick out of the box with no need to fiddle with. The LBox standard will handle it find. When
maybe with a ? starting to get more hps from motor......... estimate 250hps look at strenghtening box all go to Porsche, Reno. Maybe ask some of the
buggy boys, they are using EJ22 subie motors with no probs at all.JVLRacing:thumb

experience stats that most will do the job of putting a big smile on the dial
we use the ej22 for the simple fact it is a smaller package overall to deal with
they are not a race motor or a burnout comp winner but they are reliable with more hp than stock

I don't know how you came to that conclusion from the other post, but anyhow. I think an EJ20T in a car that will be driven offroad will destroy
stuff. Better start saving for gearboxes and CV's.
but as the others have said, it's you car and you can do whatever you want.

Im sorry guys,
I must have been tired when i wrote that post.
I meant the EJ22 not the EJ20T. Sorry for mixing it up obviously i wasn't focused on what i was typing.
So yea i have decided on the EJ22 (i think.......a little more thinking and calculating)
So sorry about the mix up.
But thanx 4 your oppinions for that engine as well |
