Identify Plate Thingys
where is the plate that has the chassis number and engine number and other information on my 1976 Kombi Auto?
And also I saw a website once that if you typed in this information it would tell you details about that specific vehicle and its birthdate and place
of birth etc etc
Any ideas of this web address?

in my twin cab it is behind the front drivers seat, just beind the seat belt return. also in the engine bay , on the left hand side on the motor
surround ,there are 2 numbers punched . the bottom one is the same as the one on the id. plate.
I'm not sure what the top one is , but it looks like a id. No. as well. the color code is behind the passenger seat |
