67 Beetle - Sydney :: Bright, Layed out, Suicides, Loads of Custom Work and Accessories

:: ‘BUGGIN’ ::
Assembled in 1967 and completely remodeled in 2000, this is a very distinctive automobile and is guaranteed to turn heads wherever you go. The perfect compliment of original vintage style re-imagined in the vein of a true street rod. Every line has been considered, every angle is brilliant. Coated in layers of 2pak bright orange paint with brilliant white fill-ins, when this bug is polished up she glows like a scarab as she strolls down the tarmac.

:: STYLING ::
In following the street rod essence, the doors are suicide (reverse opening) and the body has been simplified with interior and exterior renovations. Outside you’ll find shaved front indicators, deck lid, bonnet chrome, mirrors, shaved door handles and one-off all-clear tail lenses. The stock 5 stud white rims are wrapped in 65 series rear and 50 series front tyres with custom ground white walls. Inside features include the dash, headliner and sills all shaved smooth and colour-coded to match the dazzling exterior. The interior needs carpet and reupholstering but is tidy and houses sporty Carrera style tub seats.

:: ENGINE ::
Buggin is pushed by a dual port, single cam 1641cc power plant with all 12v Bosch electrics and a few chrome dress pieces. No extensive engine work has been completed but this is a very reliable and efficient block. A set of extractors with a single exit release the burnt carbon into the air with an aggressive note.

:: SUSPENSION ::
The front beam is a fully adjustable Gene Berg avis setup that drops you way down to worm level. The rear spring plates have been notched to allow an extra 2 inches of drop with increased travel.

:: BODY ::
Buggin is dead straight, has no problem rust and the floor pan has been recently sanded and rubber coated. She has rego until the end of the year and existing black on white plates “BUG61N’ are available as part of the package.

:: UBIQUITY ::
Buggin is universally respected and unconditionally admired. I’ve brought this Bug to VW, hot rod, bike, minitruck and four cylinder shows and have always drawn a lot of attention. An absolutely unique vehicle and must be seen to be truly appreciated, the perfect base for a sure-fire trophy hauler.

:: DETAILS ::
A very reluctant sale but I have moved to the inner city and no longer have room for a second car. I will consider all offers above $5000. Located in Sydney

I also have a garage full of spare parts you can pick through

I wish I had the money, but have you thought of trying ebay? It will get good coverage on ebay, set your staring bid or a reserve and see what happens. On ebay it costs you a listing fee and then if your car is sold it costs an extra $40. But if it doesnt sell it just costs your listing fee.
