Unofficial VW Nationals Drags. Just a thought.
As many of you know the usual drags at Oran Park the day before the VW Nationals is not happening this year.
It's disappointing so here is an alternative.
Eastern Creek is running the off street drags on Wednesday 23rd April. That's 3 days after the VW Nationals.
How about it?
I'm keen.

Me too on both counts.
What is the reason that we cant run at Oran Park?
Iknow we were expected to be on the new strip but why cant we go to Oran Park one more year?
Anyways i went to the creek just before xmas when i had my new engine in, and i will be back there as soon as my car is on the road again.
Should be just about the right time!

we carnt get ORAN PARK because they have sold the equipement.
I tried to get Eastern Creek to move there Wednesday night drags to the Saturday... but they didnt want to do it either.
they probally wont run a bracket for us... just Heads up on the night thats all.

I suppose the cost of renting Eastern Creek as we hired Oran Park is too much?!?

Yes it will be a problem.
Wednesday night off street drags are for cars with rego only.
Alot of the cars are just drag cars with rego plates, but you have to have current rego papers to compete.

So how many people are going to take there cars up to the creek on the wednesday? Just wandering if I should go and watch. Sorry guys but one look at
my piece o crap and they would have to shut the strip down after I ran.
Also just pushing this to the top to remind people that some are thinking of doing this.
