Forum Members already have a VW..
I believe that All the Members of this Forum have a VW of some sort already and MOST are NOT looking for another one... Due to lack of Space -
lack of Cash- Divorce is too expensive - Lack of time to restore one - Satisfied Completly with what they have - Already have too many - Did I miss
anyone?? :o:thumb:thumb:bounce:bounce

I, for one, am quite happy with what I got, but, if I find something that takes my fancy, then I'll grab it too.
I may not get around to laying a spanner on it for 2 years, but at least I'll know where it is.....

I first saw this thread and thought "wtf?". Maybe it was a post meant for another thread where it would have been in context. Whatever.
In any case I'm a member (albeit a new one ) and I don't have a
dub. Yet. Anyone got a late 70's Kombi Microbus either good or cheap, let me know

better or looking for the next better one. Looking real hard now as it happens

Many forum members were complaining ! about not being able to sell their VWs on this forum, and I was just suggesting in a 'Scone sort
of country way' , that We already had a VW or 2 or 3 & thats why it isn't a great place to try to sell... Parts seem to sell Well
though... Yes, Wayne... My VW is still being restored... BUT it will be at Nambucca.. I am painting My New tie rod ends at the moment...

Actually I registered here b4 I had my dub but didnt make any posts cos I thought it looked stupid me posting if I dont have a dub.
The reason why I was on here was to find a nice bargain dub. Didnt find one here but found a bargain for $800 on the trading post. And thats how I met
Shazza and fell in love. Brand new Teal paintjob with new chrome bumpers, the only thing wrong with her was she had no roof lining - still havent
fixed that (havent had time)

Won't start a new post here but maybe not all forum members have a VW as XXX-1.8T
So many people out there love beetles or kombi's but don't own one. They may be looking or dreaming still. Who cares? If they sit quietly in
the background, then that's OK. Hopefully they get a good feel for us and eventually post something, or reply, maybe even buy a VW. I'm sure
that's what we're here for?
I love the forum and the people here, whether or not we all own and are fanatic about our vee dubbs:kiss OK differences are expressed but that is a
good sign of a communicating community:thumb Viva le difference:bounce |

I'm a bachelor living in a mining town; so another VW is always a consideration... But my last boss' wife checked out this site and it was
enough encouragement to convince her husband to finally buy one for her!

This is really funny. Because on the main Uk forum you sometimes get people who sign up just to try and sell thier car or van, then get abussive when
no one wants it. Usual answer is you're trying to sell to VW fanatics who know what they're worth and want bargains if they're going to
add another car to their already over stocked collection

Yes, I'm one of the rare ones that joined this forum because I love VWs, beetles in particular but don't actually own one.

Celebrity my arse!
He's a runted little richard cranium. Sorry Unity - You can't replace 'Hey hey'.
I can't remember how I found the Fourm. I think it might have been my brother put me on to it as I don't do a lot of searching. Generally
find on place and read it and it's subsequent up dates.
I don't read Buy, Swap Sell much. I would like another VW but choose to remain faithful to the Dog-O-War (71 Baja) as it hasn't failed me
yet. I think my next will probably be a 4 seater buggy like GSLimo3's but with half the accessories. I like the Baja's and feel I'll
probably stay in them for a few years until I know them back to front. After reading posts last night I think the rat-look is for me. I'm already
half way there. Just need to get the mechanicals A1!
