Any Progressive Weber experts out there?
I bought a Progressive carb (through Aussieveedubbers' buy/sell swap,) which unfortunately wasn't in very good condition - it has obviously
spent some time sitting out in the rain and someone had previously removed the choke plates and linkage.
I was pulling it apart, as I'm hoping it will still be rebuildable, and when I removed the accelerator pump nozzles and tipped it over a bowl to
catch the check ball two fell out! One is slightly larger than the other. Does anyone know where the second ball came from and which goes where?

That would be great, if you fax it to work with my name on it - 08 90914534 - they'll give it to me. I think I see where the second ball came
from, but it doesn't make any sense.

Yeah, when you listed the company as VW freaks, my boss knew exactly who it was
Thanks for that, it does conatain the location of the extra ball: As I'd come to suspect, it came from the right hole, but someone had fitted it
above the "needle" instead of below it! Not the only botch by previous owners of this carb, but I love a challenge...

It needs blasting, but it's an original Empi! That part was a nice score.

Does it have heat risers?
Not that you would need them.
I didnt have them on mine in Sydney and it ran fine. More the point is i couldnt have fitted them if i wanted cause i coulnt find just risers anywhere

Yeah, it's got 'em.
If your manifold has the holes for the risers, you can cut the pipes off an old manifold and get them soldered on.
