Sigma distributer.

So far so good, ive no toys to play with so i bought a Sigma dissy to play with and adapt to a type 1,shortened the housing and drive shaft cut off the large slotted plate that was used for adjustment and drilled the 4mm hole to attach the beetle offset cog.Ive trial fitted and it looks and feels great, who knows it might even work anyway if it does work ile be very surprised, good value to $70 for electronic dissy and coil.:)

Keep us updated on how it goes?

How large is the cap compared with a 009? Just wondering whether it'd be suited for a CDI install due to less chance of crossfiring.

Also is the non-retarded no. 3 cyclinder and issue if you're running a doghouse?

Hi

They have large cap, like and old 40 hp bug. The Sigma uses a seperate control box/module, the carby magna has the module attached and Im using an EFI magna one on my bug as it has TDC and piston position which my computer needs as a reference.
