baja bug front end


i have a 66 baja bug and the king pins need doing for roadworthy is there a better option for front ends eg ball joint front end or should i stick with the king pin front end i will only be doing moderate stuff in it not racing it or any thing like that.how easily does a ball joint front go in a 66

ball joint requires major surgery as the torsion tubes are spaced differently to a king pin. You need to weld a BJ frame head on your KP pan.

Just stick with the KP. If the play is in the link pins just grease and adjust them. If it is in the king pins, you need to get them rebushed or buy 2nd hand units
