Am I better off leaving my Type 3 torsion bars in my buggy, or changing over to the superbug one's

If you are getting too much re-bound after landing from the Big Airs then maybe the springs are too stiff and Beetle ones better.
You'll lose valueable secs if the Buggy keeps bouncing two or three times after a big jump.
If you watch the pros you'll see that they get the rear to squat on the landing and they just accelerate away.
Is this your problem ?
