Oh Steve......

Your pic did not show any of your Flat Four stickers on the Old Bus.
Yeah it looks Good.
And of course I'm inspired to finish off my installation.

you dont want to make up some rough drawings and post them
of the manifold and adaptors that you had to fabricate i know where I can get a similar supercharger sounds like easy horsepower

Is that the supercharger of the 4AGZE? If so have you had any dramas running fuel through the supercharger? The 4AGZE is fuel injected so only runs air through the charger.

fuel

we have just finished a hot run to canberra and no problems and no there is no problems running fuel through the blower the impellers are the same material and will give long life I am able to run constant at 110 klms with only a small up in temp although i am going to run thinner oil and those scoops on the air intakes at 110 klm it has intaant acceleration and just keeps going I have to keep it at 5000 rpm as the crank is not balanced (bugger) and I am in the process of writing a story with in fo on the fit up when it's finished I will let all know I have run it to 140 klm once with no worries only fear from me in short (shit it goes )

Wouldn't it be more power and cheaper to fit a V6 holden donk with the added Air-Con and Heater?

Definetely looking forwards to reading your story on the install - I've always wanted to supercharge my beetle (73 1303), and I now have the right motor to do it with (1835, c/b crank, forged pistons and 044 heads), just need the rest of the info on the job :)

Good to know you can run these blowers in a draw through setup without any issues.

True a holden v6 would give more power, but its not a flat four now is it ? :) Having said that, each to their own - I had a 78 kombi with a 4.4L leyland V8 in it for a while .......

update

trye a v6 has more power so does a subaro but the idea of this was cheap power yhat is adaptable smaller pully less dramas larger pulleys more power still no dramas and the RTA don't give you any grief saying that the chap that does my rego has no idea that it's supercharged as he only knows that the engine is in the back they are not all like that but it goes to show that it not in your face it really looks like it's should be there
for those enquisite few trhat would like to know about manafolds they start there life as a length of rectangle tubing cut to length and cut at the desired angle with a plate of 5mm thickness drilled and cut to suit the outlets and inlets I will take some happy snaps but it really is very easy
I don't know if I have already said it but this cost me $600.00 fitted now I have the option of the amount of power i use 2lit or 2.8 lit and its that docile that i could teach a kid to drive in it no worries:P

All the focus on the engine, I like what you'd done with the interior also!! Had a look at the picnic day today. Perhaps you could put up some pics of the inside as well for everyone to see :) I really liked it but as I can't pick anymore leaves off the money tree I will put it onto my "one day..." wishlist instead.

shiney things

The wheels cost me $280.00 with tyres there is a story involved what with swapping selling etc but the thing is there off a toyota all that had to be done was to drill the stud holes to 17.5 mm no more no less i have been running them for 2 years now with no probs at speed the hole size is very important now i'm starting to tell little secrets and i will take some snaps of the inside
the interior is done by scotts at ingleburn and they dont mind to it as you can afford bloody nice chap
:D:D
