Hound dog had a 96.5 X 88 scat cased, Autocraft head engine.
He ran a best of 10.71@124.
Car was 1600lbs(730kg) so would be too light for our All Motor rules.
The gossip is that he will return soon.
I will chase him up.

There was another car of interest in Qld....Its was a black fastback from memory....It was also run out of Volsrestore if I remember...Where is that one? Henry's old Manx, that Ghia from Melbourne...Mark? Didn't Stan Pobjoy have a Red Drag bug back in the 80's?

Jees....there's enough of the these old cars about that Oz racers could start our own 'nostalgia' series!!!

DUBstalgia!

ss/c is just NA 4 cyl, DYO no other rules apart from applicable andra safety rules. But you run against v8's mostly.

testing 1 2 3...

The fastback was Wally Penboss' car before his current beetle
and is sitting idle in a guys garage as a roller.
Henrys Manx is sold and now on the street.
Marks Ghia is now complete with 2442cc EFI turbo combo just
needing final dyno tune....oh, and a track to race on.
The red bug was sponsored by Stan and owned
by Peter Greenham. It is now convered back to a daily driver.
It was owned by Peter Richards, and before him Henry
used the car as early as the seventies. A record holder I believe.
Yes, hound dog should run in the tens, even with
the weight added.
But as I have found theory is one thing....
