QUESTION for WAX-IT

Hey Dave

I have a sticky one for you! AS you may or may not know,
up here we have level 4 water restrictions, and a friend of mine is checking out some waterless car wash!

I believe that it is called "waterless car wash" by DWG..?
DWC..? Somethin like that!

Can you shed some light on this situation and, do you sell something similar?

Cheers Craig

Hi Craig,

I am not aware of the brand you mention, however there now many in the market.

Waterless wash products were developed in the US for use during the bitterly cold winter when traditional washing is not possible.

Lately I notice some are being marketed as scratch proof etc, this is just not true. Prolonged use of waterless wash products will cause minor scratching and marring of the paint. Products that are marketed as having wax in them to stop scratching actually fill the scrathes they cause, this filler will wash out very quickly once normal washing is re-commenced.

My advice, look for products whcih do not contain waxes and be prepared to have to rectify the marring with a quality polish and wax at a later stage.

I hope this helps.

Cheers
Dave.
