Is anybody coming back to Brisbane on Sat arvo/night with a spare seat? Or is there a chance of getting a lift to Rainbow Beach on Sat arvo?
I'm getting a lift up Sat morning, but need to find a way home.
Any offers much appreciated.

where would you go from Rainbow beach if you got a lift there?

If I take my esky my backseast will be full, but I haven't packed yet so I don't know. I don't really have any luggage room at all except for the back seat so I guess it probably will be full. I am going up Saturday morning, then going to Rainbow to stay there Saturday night.

I just read this on the EPA website;

Quote:

Difficult Road Conditions - Freshwater Road
Due to hot and dry conditions the Freshwater Road is extremely dry and soft – suitable only for high clearance vehicles with adequate vehicle retrieval gear.
Trailers not recommended.

I was glad I stayed at rainbow beach, and not in a tent. It rained quite a lot, and there was lots of quite impressive lightning.

All went pretty good, except for one really soft boggy length of beach where I bent my temporary radiator scoop. But it bent back later so it was ok.
