Beetle In Latest Hot4s Magazine
Just got the latest Hot4s magazine and was surprised to see a 71 Bug in it. The mag has an orange 200SX on the cover. Don't think it's in
newsagents just yet. I'm a subscriber and we get the mags about a week before.
EDIT: There's also 2 bugs in the last section of the magazine where they go out and take pictures of cars out and about. Once is a silver one
with whale tail and the other is the metallic blue 'Chopped & Dropped' one that I've seen at many VW shows.

Let's not turn this into a full blown arguement but I think some of the rice cars do look good (Daihatsus and Lancers are cr@p though I have to
agree). They do get a lot of cars though that get between 8 and 13 second 1/4 miles.

Hi
I dont like the Hot 4s etc, I prefer to read Zoom. My bug has been in FF&R and Hot 4s with Jurgos bug.

Zoom is good, Fast Fours is good most of the time. Wheels is good but they don't really get into modified cars.

What do u guys think?
Guys need some help here
Just got an email from Fast Fours and they want to put the Audi in it. What should I do should I do it?
As i just got worries I dont want everyone to know what my car has as its costed me an arm and leg to do this stuff to it.
i just dont want it to get it swiped or something.
Have any of u guys put ur cars in magazines - had any good/bad experiences from it:bounce
PS they were sick of the same boring cars and want to focus more on Euros!

heh cool! how much has it cost to do it up so far? PM me if u want.
Mmmm i think a focus on euros is a step in the right direction, it separates them more from hot 4's

ill give u an approx figure its a little under $10k
Thats including my wheels which take up half that figure and performance mods
from the other vw/audi forums they are advising against it as there have been a lot of incidents of theft after the publicity.
Also im thinking people will try to emulate my Euro look A3 too.
BTW Jon what happened to the pics from the Dyno day?

Ah but you cant prove it was a direct link to the mag feature can you?
I mean anyone could follow you home if they wanted to knock off your car, you have to be careful - photo shoot or not.
I can understand why your worried though.

Hi
After my car was in FF&R I changed my rego details to my parents house, just in case someone could get into the RTA computers, this was in the
late 80s. You can usually tell what area a car comes from, had the car painted at Joe bloggs @ Liverpool etc this is a dead giveaway to the area you
live in.
Gald you liked my car quickbug.

defecting some poor lads beetle not sure if it was setup for the camera?

i think it would be a nice change from the airbrushed lancers and charades just put some plates on it from a different state or tell them its a
showcar representing some new alarm system remember not every crooks smart!!
good luck
