water cooled club days in tassie

The VW club in Hobart are trying to organise some water cooled only events. Is there anyone on the forum in Tassie that would be interested. The club is working out the 6 monthly calander of events and any feedback from people interested would be a real help.

The only things on the agenda for around March are-
Sunday Feb 26 Mystery Breakfast drive ( very good days)
Friday April 7 Vw club mini golf championships

The water cooled days are -
Sunday 7 May Cruise Midlands Hwy to Campelltown, Lake Leake Hwy to the East Coast Hwy and then travell south to Buckland for a B.b.q lunch, should be good, lots of long straights followed up with tight cornering and some good hilly sections.

September The club is hiring Baskerville Raceway, this has events for those wanting to know how to handle their car and for those wanting full on race sessions.
If you got a car and you wank on about how quick it is bring it along on give it a go,

Definately keen to go for a lap around baskerville if you could let me know when you decide on dates.

Dates for the track will be released in about 3 months. The club rents out the track every year, this is a go for sure we just have to work around the real racecars. Thats not saying that your 59 isnt a real race car "Deluxe". It will be good to see this new car VolksFolks, Is it a stocker or modified? Any which car will do o.k we even had an Ambulance running around last year of the T4 type.
