Harley-Davidson used to sell a kit; the front-end was 3/4s of a harley frame, attached to a tube frame, with all the bits except the VW engine and
tranny.  That was a few years ago, though, you'd have to check the bike mags (or major Harley dealers, like the one in Perth, have them on
display.)  Big bikkies anyway you go, I knew a guy who lost an arm and a leg in a bike accident, so was able to buy tax-free and it cost him over
$25,000 - that was back in the early eighties.
