Hi Nathan,

Just joined up, I own a Concept FVG88 (in bits) and a bent Concept GS83 (chassis and body) but probably more often seen driving a GS82 in hill climbs.

Confused, well I was until the current enforced break from competing occured in 2001.

Regards,

Ian

Had a shocking run last season, still breaking my heart to think about it! Had so many mechanical breakdowns, engine failures, gearbox failures, people were womdering how and why I kept coming to the track!!!

Changing sponsors this year, i'll post up some pics when the car's painted and finalised!

Maybe that will be the next project.... Right after finishing the turbo/intercooled/efi 2276 for my Ragtop, not to mention the Ragtop itself, then the narrowed beam and brake upgrade on the Notch and then of course there is the SVX conversion on the Bus...... This might take a while..... I wish I could just get another me to finish my studies for me, n keep the wife happy, n make the bux to pay the bills.... Typical VW owner huh!....LOL!!....One day....

I raced an Elfin Vee about 40 years back. If I had one now, I'd have it out on the track NOW, not in the shed!

Vee racing is really great, and - given half a chance - I'd back in a Vee (1200) like a shot.

Cheers, Greg

Hahahaha your right Ian. I can srug down enough to just get by inspection tho!....Only just!
Im actually sitting directly on the floorpan in that car but can slide my bum any further forward as my knees are already pretty much on the steering bulkhead!!!
never fear, its being re-birthed as a 1600 so it will have a new and higher rollhoop anyway.

I do like that particular pix tho!
