You said in a later post that you bought some clips at a cheaper price from another dealer, then why DIDN'T you go there to buy them instead of
complaining about what someone else charges
In the business I run I am not the cheapest but I give quality service and I expect to be paid for it.
Did you consider what it actually cost the dealer to be able to supply you with the right clips that you wanted. He had to buy them, then pay for
delivery, pay the exchange rate, pay for governmet charges for importing, pay for rent on his premisses, pay for electricity, pay for his phone, pay
for advertsing, pay his workers and he has to make some profit before he can pay himself.
If it was just a 10c part then why don't you go and make make it for that price. It shows from your post that you work for someone and don't
own a business.
You only have to go to he supermarket to see a huge difference in price for the same goods. So get over it, let the moths out of the wallet.

Bought a drive belt (Hmmm fanbelt, but no fan) from a large automotive parts company. List price before GST on the invoice was $58.** (something
cents).
The total cost they charged me was $26.00 including GST.
I am glad I got a trade price, and I always screw down the large suppliers as much as I can. I suppose it is interesting in this case how much margin
they put on this drivebelt for anyone from the street retail.
Again as a group of companies we probably spend $1000 a week with the aforenotmentioned business. So rightly we should have some discount (trade
price). I have noticed the largest markups or should I say the largest discounts we get are on fast turnover service items like filters, belts, plugs
etc.
I don't work for a VW business, but I can get some VW stuff for myself from this supplier. They dont have everything, so I have to go to VW
specialist for the harder to get stuff. I pay more for this.
I will pay whatever it takes to get what I am happy with. I forget the price and remember the long lasting quality.

Clips
Very reasonable price at $1.50 each if German. Use the Taiwanese or Brazilian ones at 1/2 the cost then try to take off your caps, good luck as they
catch then snap off. How dear are they then.volma1
They are still there, just have faith you'll find one.

Gee I missed seeing the large text did I, and it was in yellow. So glad I was late to see it. Skipped over the comments anyway, have decided I
don't want to waste time.
$1.50 per clip, gee.
I know when my mechanic does things and writes a bill he will go over each thing listed. Often something else was done which is part of an item
'Had to......' etc
Maybe there were unwritten things. A thought to throw in. May pay not to read other peoples bills like half hearing a conversation
