 Retroresto's 54 project

Hi guys,

I just discovered an unfinished 54 beetle lurking in someones garage, they have done all the hard work like completely metal finish all body work,
pwder coated floorpan etc, all it required is a nice coat of paint and reassembly, it has all the right bits including matching engine, floorpan abd
speedo ID's which say it is a 11/54. it allso came with correct heart tail lights and correct headlights.
This car is sooooo straight and rust free you would cry!

Did you check out L227? Do you still want to come up and check out the stuff and see if I have the spares for you?
Do you want me to drop off a guard to Debs this week?

Yeah its a REALLY nice car. Such an easy resto. I checked it out a couple of weeks ago and was blown away by how tidy it all is. Soooo much better
than mine, makes me feel like mines even further away, now I've seen how its gotta look in primer with all the rust gone. Lucky man. Get stuck in

looking really good Paul, cant wait to see it in the flesh.
Do you still need some parts? I have the wheel for you.
When do you want to come up? I am home on monday on the easter weekend or maybe sometime next week. I got that new 54 that is totally rust free. Would
like to show you to see how hard it would be to straighten a few areas out. Keep up the good work and black does look better than L227 when its that
glossy. I want your painters Ph No.

Thanks for all the positive comments from everyone...

I will be looking to sell the 54 when its complete, it has to go as we will be moving soon and i just dont have room for it. As anyone knows that has
ever built a house it cost an absolute fortune so the funds will come in handy, as a point of interest can someone tell me what i should be asking for
the car?

To sum it up quickly it has had everythging you would expect from a resto, paint, trim, reco motor, brakes, powder coated floor pan, new seals new
exterior trims, tyres, etc the car was metal finished and has no bog at all!

Can someone with the knowledge give me a rough idea what to ask as im never sure!, all ID numbers match as far as pan, motor, speedo etc, 11/54,

I may even consider selling unassembled so someone who appreciates its worth can add their finishing touch

Thanks

Paul :beer
