Ignition is fixed just required a ballast resistor from power to coil. Been doing some highway driving and it sits on 100kph and my foot is just on the throttle. So i have full travel on the go pedal. When i roll on the throttle at 100 it hits 150 real quick id say a minimum of five or less seconds and it just keeps accelerating the power does not drop off at all. The torque of the type 4 is amazing. Now to get it to Lakeside Raceway for some laps. Oh and the 944T brakes all round superb.

Good to hear the fix was simple.
Now we need some decent vids or a heads up of when you go to Lakeside.:tu:

Hmmm don't like this. I was driving and then couldnt get gears. Gearbox is ok but flywheel and crank are not. I figure that one should not use the flwheel bolt steel gasket with aftermarket flywheel bolts. The flywheel bolts came loose either from me dumping the clutch into second with high rpm or that the aftermarket bolts don't have the serrations under the head and didnt grip into the steel gasket. Crank looks saveable but flywheel might need replacing.

I have a 2733 Type 4 in mine and wouldn't go back to a Type 1- ever.I used the OG flywheel bolts and steel disc, but using a flexplate though, and never had any issues.

I am staying with type 4 power. The 2270 is just too nice an engine. The driveability and torque it makes is great. I can be doing 150kph and roll on the throttle and it just keeps pulling to higher speeds. I also love the fact its nearly idling at 60kph in fourth with an .89 4th and 3.88 r&p. brilliant engine.
