beetle door compatability
Could someone please tell me if all bug doors to 67 are the same size ? E.G will 64 doors fit my 56 bug?

Yes, they will fit into the shell aperture (same shape and "circumference") but won't be 'correct' due to sheetmetal details. I have 60s doors on
my Oval - I had to weld up the front handle hole on the outer skin to suit the flip-out Oval handles (vs pushbutton)
1955 (I think - possibly it's 54) and earlier cars had a different latch and B pillar that is not compatible with later doors

Cool, as long as the later model fit into the ovals body appeture, and extra hole for door handle is welded no one would know the difference,
