Window wiper spray jet connecting?

Ok, so the window wiper squirter on my bug wasnt connected when i bought it, and as it is the button sometimes sticks leaving the window wipers on. I bought a new switch and am going to install it, only problem is, i do not know where the spray jet gets connected to.
there is no washer bottle, so i will get 1 of those, but the way i think it thru is the hose from the washer bottle goes to the pump button, then the other hose goes from the pump button to the window wiper squirter.

i have the old pump style squirter, not the later electric type. and also for originality im not modding it.

any insight? TY
