Kombi Auto Driveshafts

I notice that on my 2L kombi auto, the diff appears to be off-centre...... do these require uneven length driveshafts, or are they the same as a manual?

Yes Col, the auto axles are a different length left to right, and just to make it interesting, both auto axles are different to the manuals.

Bugger!! I was hoping to chuck the auto in over the Easter holidays while the engine was out, but I guess I'll be waiting a bit longer. :(
