I'm painting my Oval "Gunyah Grey".

It was an Aussie VW colour and was a bit darker than some of the greys you see on some forum members cars.

Look back a few pages in the General Chat section here at the forum and you'll find it.

Bugboy, I think the colour of my oval is called Mouse Grey. Thats what they call it on splits anyways.

Have a look at the colour charts on this link. But its only covering beetles from 57 to 65http://autocolorlibrary.com/acl_files/volkswagen.html

Dunno XXX, unfortunatly thats not my car. Wish it was tho.
Seen these oval signs around before at shows and things. They usally have german writing on them.
Saw a cool one that hade the words "Invest in Precious Metal" on it.

Apparantly the grey on that split is incorrect!
Steel Grey was available in 57 nice colour
