EJ20t into a Speedster replica?

My boss has finally bought himself a Porsche 356 Speedster replica. It is rolling on a 71 bug chassis. The car is currently located in Sydney, but will eventually be coming down to Melbourne.

Who should he talk to in either Sydney or Melbourne for a drive-in/drive-out EJ20t conversion? He would like to maintain the A/C. What sort of money is he looking at?

This is the car:

It was a good conversion too. Worth a look even if you're not doing it.

BTW, have you heard from the new owner much Rich?

yeah some good hints there - but a drive in, drive out rig will cost well into the $teens, methinks

I would think this conversion will take it into the ICV (individually constructed vehicle) bad lands.......:o I would suggest he get some official local advice on registration and engineering requirements first off.
Looks like a nice replica.

I am doing them for people now I have the workshop set up. Call me on 0416 115 993 if you want to discuss specifics about legal requirements, options and costs.

I will be making custom alluminium tanks with built in baffling to eliminate the need for priming pumps and surge tanks. I can also bend up box sections for firewalls, tig or mig mild or stainless exhausts/intake piping/complete intake manifolds and will be making a couple of deepsumps from scratch in either steel or alloy.

Not much, he has put it up for sale again. I'm surprised he bought it in the first place living on an island (Jersey) that has a maximum speed limit of 40mph!
