penguin was quite clearly asking a question about the swap meets on Saturday.

No need to HIJACK the post.

Otherwise some people might start talking about other shows in threads about the Nationals...

It seems to me that they are talking about the swapmeet at the Nationals, on Sunday.

HotRodMatt, do you know something that I don't?

"the bugin.org site says there is two swap meets on Staurday morning"

Very clearly not the Sunday show. But the BUG IN on Saturday. A swap meet before the cruise at Old Govermnet House and the big one at the Show and Shine at Butterfly Farm.

Don't know something you don't, just actually read the post.

And the title of the post was "Swap meet at Nationals???", so clearly nobody is trying to hijack the post. There is just some confusion about which swapmeet penguin wants to go to. Any info provided regarding swapmeets at either event would probably be a good thing, would it not? I see no reason to imply that anybody has tried to hijack the post.

The original post made two mentions that it was for the BUG IN. He mentioned their site and the fact it's Saturday and that there are two. One at the start of the cruise and one at the show and shine. I U2U'd what more i knew other than what he's already seen on the Bug In site.

Find me a post about the bug in where there hasn't been a distraction about the Nationals.

And yes, I still remember the thread on the old forum that anyone that supports the bug in doesn't support the volkswagen scene. Support it fully by going to both!

Swap meets

Thanks for all the notes,
Matt, thanks for the reply. Yes I did get confused with the Nats and the Bug-In, as hte site also has a cruise over to the Nats listed. There is a tel number, its for Rick. But as Matt has given me a good detiail, I don't need to call. I am going to go to both the swap meets at the Bug-in and the Nats.
Ta all, and I agree, lets just have a beer :)
Cheers all

I'm just gonna go with the flow. Will be at the Nat early and staying till after the meet up at 10.30 there, take a few pics then follow somone over the the Bug-in as I'm not that savvy of the city scene so I'll follow somone who is.

:P Be Cool :P

Swap meets

From what I read and have been told the swap meet Sat morning is small then later during the show and shine there is a second one. Now I am willing to be proven wrong, but then there is one on Sunday mornign at the Nats, that sounds bigger still? The first bit (Sat) I got from the bug-in site, the other from all the posts above.
Cheers
Penguin
