Where did the smoke go?
As some of you know i blew a plug (#3) the other day and the problem was fixed with a "time sert" - (i even know the difference to a heli
coil now too!)
Before then, every know and then i would get the old puff of oil smoke at start up. Nothing to worry about, just every 3rd day say.... at least once a
week.
Well it has been going on 3 weeks since my episode and not a puff?
Coincidence?
Opinions?

Barry,
could be that the cold weather started about the same time, so less oil down the pot? - I use the same oil as you do & the past few weeks the
exhaust has produced only a small puff instead of a large cloud |

yeah good comment about the weather change wasnt thinking but it probally makes sense....
or maybe Barry doesnt have enough oil in the engine too make it burn..

Yes it has happened since a noticable change in weather

Now i will have to wait till summer to see if that was it!
