Think this thing can get airborn? no idea about it, but the poor baby look like it can go pretty fast, hehe. WHY!!!

69' baja: kombi box, thing spindles, irs, disc front, type 3 rear drums, 2 inch lift kit, 31x10 rears. :tu:
New engine in process: 94mm p&bs, 74mm C/w chomol Crank, 35.5x39 SP heads, turbo. Wierd combo, hopeful torque monsta!

yes i think the fastys can go pretty fast. last week my dad drove mine to newcastle and back in the one day, he says he was sitting on about 75mph the entire time, he doesnt know the conversions exactly but is pretty good with them so he knew he was going a fair speed. ever since then hes been going on and on "why they called it a fastback is because it can go FAST" my poor girl, shes done around 2000ks in the last 2 weeks if not more :(

Dougie Nivens car was a Formula5000 chassis that was modified to to fit the fibreglass vw body work. And it was rather quick!
