If you're lucky someone may have picke dup one of his business cards today at the Nats or yesterday's Bug-In, sorry I didn't  He runs a business something along the lines of customs signs and/or designs or
similar. He should be able to tell you all about the trailer though because I did hear him say to someone that he built it himself.

I have seen photo's of the original teardrop trailers, they were built by a couple of guys in the US, I cant remember their full name's
but the company was called Kenskill, they are being reproduced by this mob, http://teardropparts.com/
I Think they are just the thing to pull behind a Beetle, someone should take up making them here, the hot rod guys would love them.
I want to build one for myself!
Once again, thanks for your reply's, I will have to get in contact with the man and pick his brain on how he built it!

Trailer
Rob,
spoke to him for a little while about the trailer and got a few ideas from it. Its a one off hand made, he used (I think) 20mm square section for the
frame, and sheeted the outside. From the inside he then routed the wiring, filled the panels with foam (20mm sheet), then panelled the inside with
Ply. I have a few other shots of it if you like (not very good though). He has an adjustable ride, via a screw up/down suspension, so if he is going
to load it up he can raise it before he puts the gear in. There is a rather neat rain gutter setup above the rear door, and he has run a gutter
('U' shaped channel) across the top and down the sides of the rear hatch leading to a box drain of sorts. It also has a flexible exhaust to
take the output from the V8 towing it along. His comment was that it would not be economical to build more of them, and that when he sent pics over to
the States, they answered back and said it was better than theirs!
