DECA Sprints

The DECA Sprints are on this Sunday (13th) at Shepparton and I have entered just to take the car out for a run. I haven’t been to DECA since I did Drivers Ed back in High School 12 or so years back. It’s a 1.2 km track, two laps standing start, should be a bit of fun.

Great wether on the weekend for a bit of a drive. The DECA track is simple enough but fun, the only real tricks were a few cones placed prior to the turn in to the one and only hill to try and slow you down before a double apex right hander that I never got a handle on. Quickest car was a WRX; I was 13 secs slower but won my class. Which isn’t hard when you’re the only one in it. Also running was a open wheeler using type 3 front end 202 holden turboed engine and type 1 gear box.
