Headliner removal in a 65 beetle?
Hey peoples
Am going to be installing a Britax ragtop soon, and would prefer to remove the headliner before i do - so i don't cut it or set it on fire
i did a bit of a serch but couldn't find anything directly relating to this, hence starting a new thread.
Any secrets to it?
Cheers
Dan

if its britax sunroof then u shouldnt need to remove ur headliner at all
theres no welding/ oxy cutting that would catch it on fire
u just cut the hole, drill a few mounting holes then bolt it up and ur headliner just glues to the edge with a bit of welting over the top nice and
neat like so

Well, i've stil got to cut a hole in the roof, and i'd prefer to remove the headliner (so i don't accidentally cut through it in the wrong spot) or
have to cut through any bracing etc that holds the headliner up.
