type 4 is an updated type 3 totaly different realy, with type 4 motor and bigger interior. but still aircooled
is it Phil witht hte camper who is the VW Guru, he might update us with a type 4 history update

rabbit is a US golf. Only I think now they are calling golfs golfs. Whats with the yanks that have to come up with their own names like rabbit,
vanagon, eurovan... baaah.
I need a type 4 to finish of my set. Gotta type 1, 2 and 3, just need ooooone more.
I think they got struts though dont they??? big turn off. Might as well buy a commodore. Only I cant afford the oil. Whats with the early wheels on
this thing?

I've seen Simon's one in Toowoomba its very neat, I also know of a Type IV fastback on the Gold Coast. They were never sold in Australia, so
any that are here are private imports.
