Brakes help needed urgently
Lost all brakes last week. No leaks at all. Bled the whole things but no joy. Noticed that there was no pressure at all at front wheels (not sure
about backs because I didn't check). Got the master cylinder recondition (bloody bugger of a job to remove and re-install) but same thing. Just
no pressure at all at front wheels. What's going on? Urgent advice needed please. Been without a car for a whole week

just a wild guess but worth a check under the circumstances-- has a brake line flattened or bent?, when you say no pressure at all does any fluid come
out when you open the bleeders & press? |

I've been in this sitn before!
I suspect you haven't got the air out of the m/cyl & it is air locking. If the pipes to the wheels are connected, remove the stoplight switch
& have a helper push the pedal down then put your finger over the stop light s/w hole & get your helper to release the pedal. Repeat till
fluid is pushed out on the down stroke then re-connect the stop light s/w switch & bleed the brakes as normal. If this doesn't fix it then
the "push" rubber on the master cyl piston may have slipped of its groove & is causing leakage on the down stroke.
If you are solo, then you have to suck the fluid out via the bleed nipple furtherest from the m/cyl. The cheapest way to do this is with a 50ml disp
syringe minus the needle & a short piece of plastic or rubber tube from the bleed nipple to the syringe. You can buy the syringe from your local
pharmacy- just explain what you're doing so they are not suspicious you're going for the Queen Mother of hits!

Thanks. It turned up to be a comb between master cyl, bad wheel cyl & plenty of air. After I fixed everything (a whole day) took it for a drive
and the ^%$# master cyl is now leaking inside the car :cry. Looking for another one. Not looking forward to doing the whole thing again
